Mr. Giordano has worked in the securities industry for over 30 years. Prior to forming Opus Group Financial he started J Giordano Securities in 1999, a full service institutional investment bank and broker dealer before it was sold to NewOak Capital Markets in 2010.
Previously he spent eight years as a general partner at Baker Nye Securities: part of a large New York investment boutique managing over one billion dollars in arbitrage and non-directional investments. His responsibilities included advising, managing, and implementing strategies for sophisticated individuals and institutional clients through the use of convertible and other related securities. Previously Mr. Giordano was a portfolio manager of Jamie Securities/ Millennium Partners this privately-held, asset manager responsible for alternative asset investments and implementation of strategies. Based in New York, NY, he was responsible for oversight of hundreds of millions of assets. Prior to this, his experience covers most functions within the industry, from institutional salesman to proprietary trader to portfolio manager. He spent several years at Natixis Bleichroeder specializing in international markets and foreign securities. Additionally he worked as Portfolio Manager with Stockton Partners: investing in small cap stocks using an event driven investment approach.
Mr. Giordano started his career at Shearson Lehman Hutton where he worked for over 11 years. Additionally Mr. Giordano was a Founder of USA Bank based in Port Chester, NY. Mr. Giordano has an undergraduate degree from Villanova University, holds numerous licenses and certifications. He serves as advisor to his alma mater as well as Weil Cornell Medical College.

Ms. Koehler has more than twenty years working in the administrative field. A varied work career has helped her gain knowledge in many areas. Ms. Koehler attended Quinnipiac University with a focus in business administration and marketing and currently holds a license as a patent paralegal and is a licensed real estate salesperson for the State of Connecticut.
She resides in Stamford, CT with her son, Will. |
